GENEVA – Mishew Singletary Sr., of Geneva, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Living Center North in Geneva. Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva, NY on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022, in the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Golden will officiate. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Mishew was born in Bladenboro, N. C. and has been a resident in Geneva for several years. He was the son of the late Stanley and Beatrice Singletary. He was formerly employed at Colonial Laundromat in Geneva. He is survived by his wife, Jeanell Woody Singletary; his children, Mishew Singletary Jr., Michael Pesante, Lee McKoy, Shanell Eldridge and Dorrell Eldridge all of Geneva; Joseph McKoy of Rochester, and Larhonda Singletary and Nelsina McKoy-Herring both of Geneva; his brother-in-law Nane McKoy; grandchildren, Khamari, Ariyanna, Jarrielyana, Khyrell, Maleik, Janery, Lashauna, Tyshiana, Qador Quasim, Jamharr, Lamon, Jashawn, O’naya; one great-grandson, Jocyah. He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Singletary.
