GENEVA – Mrs. Mary J. Prutzman, 100, of Glass Factory Bay Rd., passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in her home. Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva, on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Thomas P. Mull will officiate. Burial will follow in South Newark Cemetery. Memorial contributions, in her memory, may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Mary was born in Lyons, New York on December 19, 1915. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Teresa Montemorano Maloney. She was retired from the Newark Development Center was a member of the Geneva Women’s Club and Our Lady of Peace Parish. She celebrated her 100th birthday in her home and was awarded a life membership to the Geneva Women’s Club at that time. She is survived by her sons: George “Jack” of Newark, Dennis of Colorado, and Robert of Indonesia; her daughters, Deborah Prutzman of Rochester and Robin Lusk of Indiana; eight grandchildren: Jacqueline, Luella, Amanda, Fonda, Colin, Jennifer, Kristen, and Parker; three great-grandchildren: Jennifer, Victoria and Timothy; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John; her sisters, Rose DeJohn, Katherine Fischetti, Lucy Mignonie, and Josie DeLesio; her brothers: Thomas, Frank, and Charles Maloney; and her grandson, John Prutzman.
