Mary F. Keebler Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

WATERLOO- Mary F. Keebler 84 of West River Rd., passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012 in Strong Memorial Hospital. Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva on Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 20, 2012 from the funeral home and at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church in Waterloo. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterloo. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Waterloo Little League, Waterloo Memorial V F W or to the American Heart Association. Mary was born in Geneva and was a lifelong resident of this area. She was the daughter of the late William J. and Helen Brennan Maher. Mary Attended DeSales High School and at one time worked at the former Ringer's Bakery when donuts sold for 45 cents a dozen. She was a member of the Waterloo Memorial VFW auxiliary, was a poll worker during the elections for Waterloo and loved to do crafts and was a great baker. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Waterloo. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Robert E. Keebler; her sons: Robert E. Keebler of Geneva and Timothy J. (Lauri) Keebler of Waterloo; her daughters: Patricia A. (Bernard) Doran of Rochester, Mary E. Steen of Canandaigua; Susan J. (Kevin) Fredendall of Waterloo; ..and she had no favorites. Two brothers: Richard (Lorraine) Maher and Thomas Maher both of Geneva; two sisters: Jean Koch of Fla and Linda (Charles) Turturro of Geneva; eight grandchildren: Kimberly Doran, Kelly (Justin) Burkett, Shawn (Nicole) Keebler, Patrick (Carly) Keebler, Stephanie (Matthew) VanNostrand, Robert Steen, Sarah and Stephen Fredendall. Eight great grandchildren: Ryan, Paige, Alex, Giana, Dylan, Addison, Gracie and Dakota; brothers-in-law: Kevin J. Powers of Geneva and Alan (Cindy) Keebler of So. Butler; sisters-in-law: Janet Keebler and Joyce Maher both of Geneva and Barbara Maher of North Carolina; Several Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers: William E. And Robert Maher, her sisters: Betty Locke and Nancy Powers; Brothers-in-law: Richard Koch and Richard Keebler. .
