GENEVA - Leroy H. Leggs Jr. 68 of Castle St., passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the Leo Caring Center, Rochester, NY Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 9 am. on Thursday, August 7, 2014 in the funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church. Burial with full Military Honors will be in Sampson Military Cemetery. Memorial contributions, in his memory, may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to St. Anne's Community / Leo Center for Caring, 1500 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14626 Leroy was born in Jamacia, NY on June 14, 1946 to Leroy H. and Dorothea Perry Leggs Sr. He served his country for twenty years in the U S Air Force and was a Technical Sergeant when he retired in 1986. He served in the National Guard and ran the Lincoln Chalenge Acedamy in Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Michelle; sons, Anthony Leggs of Ohio, Leroy H. Leggs III of Il, James Durham of Geneva and Michael Osterhout of Geneva; daughters, Bianca Billman of Il, Gabrielle Leggs of Michigan, Lesa and Larell Dennis of Boston, MA, Patty Durham of Savannah, NY; his sister, Barbara Murphy of SC twenty four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren brotherand sister in laws: Joe and Mary Osterhout of Waterloo, Pam and Anthony DiCostanzo of Geneva, David Osterhout of Auburn, Abe Osterhout of Waterloo and Edward Osterhout of Geneva and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Randolph Markel and his brother, Ronald Leggs, and sister-in-law Mary Osterhout.. The Family would like to pay special thanks to Terry Boyd and the Joseph Osterhout family for their support throughout his illness. .
