ROMULUS - E. Donald Madigan, 76, of Poplar Beach, Romulus, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva, on Monday, January 5, 2015, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, in the Funeral Home. The Rev. James Fennessy will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Geneva, NY. Memorial contributions, in his memory may be made to the American Heart Fund, or to the American Cancer Society. Don was born in Geneva and was a lifelong resident of this area. He was the son of the late Edwin and Margaret Delamarter Madigan. He formerly owned and operated Don and Leo's Mobile station in Seneca Falls and worked at LeBrun Motor's in Waterloo before retiring from Zoto's International in Geneva. He was a volunteer for the Geneva Ambulance and North Seneca Ambulance for several years. Don was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Waterloo Sportsman club. He was a member of St. Francis/St. Claire Parish in Waterloo. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his son, Kevin (Laura) Madigan of Waterloo and his daughter Norine Crull of Geneva; step-children, Donald (Maurine) Hoyt of Romulus and Tina (Dale) Jones of Vestal; Nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Suzanne Goodenow Madigan, his brothers, William and Thomas Madigan and his son-in-law, Carl Crull.
