GENEVA – Anne E. Onorato, 74, of Geneva passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 5, 2021, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva, NY, on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in St. Stephen’s Church. Entombment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Mary’s Columbarium. Memorial contributions, in her memory, may be made to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 130 Exchange St., Geneva, NY. Anne was born in Geneva and was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Martin J. and Joan Myers Lawler Jr. She was a graduate of DeSales High School, Class of 1964 and was retired from the Finger Lakes Credit Union where she was the Visa Manager. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. Anne loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Alexander Onorato; her daughter Cynthia (David) Turrell of Providence Forge VA; her sons, Martin A. (Patricia) Onorato of New Milford, CT, and Alex (Debra) Onorato of White Plains, NY.; her brothers, John Watson of Geneva, Michael (Catherine) Lawler of Farmington, William (Marcia) Lawler of FL, and Timothy (Bernardo Siles) of Washington, DC; her sister, Margaret Lawler of Geneva; seven grandchildren, Rachel and Zander Turrell, Sylvia, Chloe and Christina Onorato, Lily and Ruby Onorato. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Martin Lawler III.
